Crans-Montana

Crans-Montana is one of Switzerland’s best-known all-round resorts, combining wide intermediate-friendly skiing with shopping, restaurants, winter walking and strong non-ski appeal. Its sunny plateau setting gives big views across the Valais Alps, while the ski area offers enough terrain for relaxed resort weeks and mixed-ability groups. It is a useful SNOW EXP addition because it covers a major Valais resort that is less extreme than Verbier or Zermatt but still highly recognisable.

Sunny setting, polished town, good restaurants, broad pistes and strong mixed-group appeal.

Less extensive than the biggest Swiss linked areas and can feel expensive.
